I enjoyed the recipe (below) so much that the next day I sent an email to Girl & The Fig owner Sondra Bernstein (@figgirl on Twitter; pictured), and asked if she'd consider making The Corktease available to her patrons this summer. Given the 'spicy' name, I assured her that there's no need to make a big deal out of it, that we could keep it an underground secret,
This morning, I'm happy to report, Sondra sent me an email and agreed.
So, starting today and continuing through August, you can order up a "Corktease" at one of the most popular restaurants in Wine Country, and arguably the most popular restaurant in Sonoma. Stop in, belly up to the bar, and be sure to tell the bartender that I sent you. After, enjoy a meal there. You won't be disappointed! And when you get home, feel free to post your reviews of this new 'corktail' and share your experience below.
Until the next post, Corkasms to one and all!
